Faith Technologies: Employees achieve certification in PV and solar thermal installation from NABCEP6/7/2011
Menasha, Wis. (June 07, 2011) Kevin Quinn and Kyle Meise recently passed the exam to be awarded their certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) in solar photovoltaic (PV) and solar thermal installation. The certification distinguishes the men as knowledgeable leaders in the fields of renewable and sustainable energy and assures the public of a commitment to continued professional training, education and an adherence to ethical practices.
The NABCEP requires all applicants to meet work documentation, experience, and training requirements for their program in order to be eligible for the certification exam. Each applicant must also sign and agree to uphold a code of ethics in addition to completing continued education and installation requirements every three years for recertification. Exams cover fundamental trade knowledge, codes and standards, and accepted industry practice based on installation scenarios that use system diagrams and equipment specifications.
Faith Technologies strives to exceed customers expectations by surpassing their own high standards through leadership and employee development initiatives. Doing so ensures that Faith Technologies employees have the ability to successfully adapt superior processes and best practices for the ever-changing construction environment.
NABCEP is a national certification organization for professional installers in the field of renewable energy and comprises a volunteer board of renewable energy stakeholder representatives that includes representatives of the solar industry, NABCEP certificate recipients, renewable energy organizations, state policy makers, educational institutions and the trades.
