THE schools prom season is well underway and the hunt is on for the North West Evening Mail’s Prom King and Prom Queen of the year for 2011!
For the first time this year the Evening Mail is launching a search for a Prom King and Queen, who will be voted for by our readers, and will be called upon to represent the Evening Mail and carry out a series of official duties, throughout the year.
If you think you have what it takes, send in a photo of yourself in your prom attire and you could be in with a chance of winning fabulous prizes – as well as the prestige of being crowned the first ever Evening Mail Prom King or Queen.
Both the winning king and queen will each win a fabulous photoshoot and poster sized print (20in x 30in) from Powder and Paint Photography, in packages worth £450 each.
Owned by Lorraine Oates, Powder and Paint photography is on Station Road in Dalton and will be opening a fabulous new studio, over three floors, next door to the existing shop later this summer.
The contemporary styled new studio will include a luxurious open gallery and hi-tech viewing room on the ground floor, a spacious studio with a selection of sets and backdrops and a stunning makeup room on the middle floor. While the top floor will be an elegant ‘boudoir’ lounge which offers a private and opulent setting for shoots.
Powder and Paint will also be introducing Covergirl shoots for girls aged 12 to 15, offering them a chance to feel like a magazine model for the day, at an introductory price of £99. While for young men aged 12 to 15, the studio will be offering the Urban Boy photoshoot experience, priced at £125. Powder and Paint already offer Sparkle Party photoshoots for girls under 12, also priced £125.
