Scholarships to Digital Arts Camps for Shenandoah County Residents ...
A generous grant from the Shenandoah Community Foundation has allowed LFCC to offer 10 scholarships to enable deserving youth to attend one week-long class during the College's Digital Arts Camps this summer from June 27 to August 19. To be eligible, a student must be between the ages of 7 and 15, complete the required application form, be a Shenandoah County resident, and must have their own transportation to and from the LFCC Middletown Campus.
The Digital Arts Camps are coordinated by the LFCC Office of Workforce Solutions. Each camp is held for five days, Monday through Friday, in either a morning or afternoon session. Topics include: Movie Making, Claymation and Stop Action, Robotics, Video Game Design (2-D and 3-D), Video Game Animation, Music Creation, Fashion Design, and Lego Game and Video Creation. Camp times are either 9 a.m. to 12 noon or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. For a complete list of camps and an application form, log onto the Workforce Solutions website at http://www.lfccworkforce.com/#1040 .
