Did illegal immigrants start our county's fires?
"I find it highly likely that the illegals started this fire, just as they started the one in the same location last year," said Arena. "Someone needs to say it instead of this beating around the bush. And the new fire in the Coronado Monument in the Huachucas, with the public banned from the parks, who else but the illegals would be building camp fires?" Meanwhile, at West Turkey Creek, Austin is surrounded on three sides with National Forest land and "100 percent of his forest allotment has burned. About 80 percent of my patented land is burned. But no structures. I think the firefighters and Forest Service have done an unbelievable job - I am so impressed by what I have seen. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty," Austin said. "There's no question ... without these firefighters, most of my structures would be gone." Austin said "the communication has also been wonderful. They come out and speak to the ranchers and give you phone calls. They let us know when they were going to shut off the power (on about June 6) and they asked if we needed any help moving our food from the refrigerator. I hate to see the area burn, but they have been wonderful people to work with," he said. "During the Rattlesnake Fire in 1994 the communication was not so good." "The firefighters have done everything they could do. They helped move cattle to where the water is and they have protected them. They have protected fences when they can and infrastructure, such as pipelines, as well," he said. "I have heard some criticism, but I haven't seen anything I could possibly criticize. From the top down, from crews to truck drivers, everyone's been great. It's a hard mountain to fight a fire on, especially under these conditions." " hmmm. if i was coming here illegally breaking the law.. would i start a fire that could be spotted and hinder my passage... ummmm no i think not.. next thing you know cancer and teen pregnancy will be blamed on the illegals too.. come on ppl use your head... the wonder full tree huggers who sued the fed gove to prevent thinning and logging have caused these fires looking at the cute little animals. " " @seriously in doubt/U.S. Abraham The fires are often intended as misdirection for pursuing agents. They don't sit around those fires roasting marshmallows, thus they are left unattended during the height of fire season and we can see the result.Horseshoe Canyon Ranch - News
I've gotten emails from people up there that this is going on, and heard that the Border Patrol followed several up toward the Horseshoe Canyon. It's not an uncommon ploy (to start a fire) to distract the Border Patrol." The USFS has indicated that the

Horseshoe Canyon Ranch(HCR), AR, my last time be there? « 中微子 ...
Although I am always sick from poison ivy and bugs in Arkansas, I still like the HCR, as the climbing wall is so close to camping site that we can do night climbing as late as you want and not need to worry about getting back. Yeah, night climbing was the whole point to drive 7 hours one way to get just two days joy of Rock. My love of night climbing could actually be traced back to Gunks’ days . This time again, I was ride with Brant and Amber. Thanks alot to Brant and Amber for their long driving.
Weather was just perfect, no rain, no storm, or tornado. In the Saturday night, we headed to the west wall for the night climbing. I leaded a 5.7 and set up a toprope for group. This route was exactly the one James leaded and we toproped last year . This time, James was not there, so I have to lead it , but it was really fun to lead in darkness. It was so quite, you climbing with the song of the insects and frogs, with the sparking sky. People was pretty creative, zac brought his laser projector which can project disco like patterns on the wall; Paul initially thought I was just joking about night climbing, when he actually saw our climbing in darkness, he thought it was totally insane. However, he tried lately, with his bare feet even!! And he post a video right after he finished his “first ever most crazy thing he done” onto Youtube. I cleaned the rope with my bare feet, after everybody tried it.
After listened to Paul’s story by the camping fire, I’d tried to connivence people do some night bouldering in Sunday night, however, people was just got too tired for some unknown reason to move, it was sad I’d say.
One interlude was happened on Sunday, we headed to East wall and parked our Dodge in the Ranch. Ehen we got back afternoon, we found our stuff was just bite and thrown around everywhere by horses. One horse tried very hard to bite my oranges stored in a bag, he must wondered “why it is so tasty but I can not get it??!!!”. Those guys even left their tongue print on Dodge’s windows ( http://cid-5a78cbffe327552d.photos.live.com/self.aspx/mylifeisnotlikethis/2011/2011^_May28^_HCR^_AR^_TX/DSC^_4500.JPG ), was that window also tasty?
I believe this trip put an end on my experience of HCR, however, I hope it were not the end of my outdoor climbing in this summer.
